Toyota Models 2000-2020
4Runner
The Toyota 4Runner has always been a strong contender as a rugged, 4-wheel-drive-capable SUV that can tackle pretty much anything a Jeep can-almost. First produced in 1992, the model continues to thrive today. There are as many 4Runners from 2000 and older on the road as there are models from 2017, 2018, and 2019. The 4Runner has grown in size and continues to provide a solid foundation for anyone from budding families to the outdoorsy types. Whether you visit White Tank, Estrella, McDowell, or South Mountain Park and Preserve, the Toyota 4Runner is your new best camping buddy and SunTec can provide the auto glass repair or replacement should your SUV receive cracks, chips or other windshield damage.
Avalon
Driving away from the Chandler Municipal Airport, you may have seen quite a few Toyota Avalons. First produced in 1994, the Avalon is the largest family sedan Toyota offers, with both gas and hybrid powertrains available. The Avalon is a great choice if you're attending Chandler Gilbert Community College because both the gas-powered and the hybrid 4-cylinder engines are incredibly fuel efficient. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ( NHTSA) awarded the 2019 Toyota Avalon 5 out 5 stars, so you know the model is safe for college students and young families alike. Similar to 2018, Toyota strikes the perfect balance between utility and luxury in the Avalon; from the generous cabin space available to the large cargo capacity in the trunk. Materials set the model apart from more mundane interiors without going too far because after all, the Avalon is priced for those looking to use their vehicle on a daily basis. High-priced luxury sedans can stay in their garages, which is a great place for our mobile specialists to perform a windshield replacement on your Avalon or other Toyota model.
Camry
Whether you live in Mesa, Tempe, or any of the towns surrounding a college campus, you're bound to spot more Toyota Camrys on the road than Lamborghinis or Ferraris. The Camry is a mid-size sedan, not quite as large as the Avalon but bigger than the entry-level Corolla. Competing with other sedans, the Toyota Camry offers a potent mix of fuel efficiency, flair, and a healthy dose of dynamism, with distinctive styling and an impressive safety rating to boot. Many choose the Camry not just for the safety and fuel efficiency, but for the dependability and reliability as well. In fact, though models from 2000 and earlier may not sport the modern features of the 2019 Camry, they're still a viable alternative for those who don't want to commit to a monthly car payment. The Camry is one of Toyota's strongest nameplates and continues to set the bar high when it comes to the mid-size sedan. Get your Camry windshield repaired at your convenience with SunTec, where we come to you anywhere in the Phoenix Valley.
Celica
Though no longer in production, the Toyota Celica capitalized upon the coupe-style small sportscar design that brought the Honda Civic, Mazda Miata, and many others so much fame. To make things even more confusing, Toyota launched a Celica Camry variant in Japan, even though the nameplates would eventually become separate models in the United States. The Celica was powered by a slew of 4-cylinder engines and came in both front-wheel and rear-wheel drive, depending on model year. If you're looking for a Celica, you'll have to look in the early 2000s and older as final production halted in 2006.
C-HR
Brand new for 2019, the Toyota C-HR brings an edgy design language to the otherwise sophisticated lineup. The nameplate "C-HR" stands for Compact High Rider, among other things. Toyota is well-known for the suite of safety features found standard on all newer models, and the C-HR is no exception. If you live near Avondale or Goodyear and attend any of the surrounding colleges, the C-HR is the ride you need to get you to class-and everything else that makes college a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Corolla
Did you know that the Toyota Corolla has been in production since 1966? In fact, Toyota has sold over 40 million Corollas since the first model rolled off the production line. The Corolla has served many generations well. If you want a more stylish Corolla, look for models from 2004 to 2020 at your local Phoenix Toyota Dealership. Within the area between San Tan Valley, Tucson, and Surprise, Arizona, we'd bet there are hundreds of Corollas driving the streets of downtown Phoenix. Whereas the Camry and Avalon are pitched more towards families, the Toyota Corolla appeals more to the younger crowd. A dynamic design and edgy styling cater to the new drivers of today. The Corolla is a great first car to own and will serve you well for years to come. It's hard to beat the 31 city and 38 EPA-estimated miles-per-gallon rating Toyota boasts on the 2020 Corolla, especially given the fact that the brand offers a hybrid powertrain as well. Some consumers might dismiss the Corolla as an economy sedan but there's more to this model than first meets the eye. If your Corolla has a cracked or chipped windshield, SunTec's experienced technicians can quickly assess the damage and provide the right repair or replacement so you can be back on the road in a jiffy!
FJ Cruiser
Discontinued in the 2014 model year, the FJ Cruiser could be considered the 4Runner's smaller sibling. Still capable of off-roading stunts and durable enough to withstand the daily thrashings of any Scottsdale family larger than 3, the FJ Cruiser was unique in design. In fact, it's possible the C-HR may have been the modern revision of what the FJ Cruiser couldn't quite achieve. However, it's hard to forget those bulky dials and dash painted the very same color the entire car was clothed in. The FJ Cruiser actually debuted in 2003 as a concept car at the Chicago Auto Show.
FR-S/86
During the takeover of Scion by Toyota, the Scion FR-S got rebadged as the Toyota 86. Even more confusing is the Subaru equivalent, named the BRZ. While subtle features on each of these models may vary, the overall look remains nearly identical. The FR-S/86/BRZ is a small coupe pitched low to the ground. Perfect for shopping in and around Gilbert, AZ, the Toyota 86 brings back the fun of driving a sports car that we last saw in the Supra. Check out the 2019 Toyota 86 if you're looking for a peppy sports car on a budget to cruise around Arizona in.
Highlander
The Toyota Highlander and the Sequoia are models you might get easily confused if you don't look too closely. Whereas the Sequoia resembles the 4Runner and Tundra models, the Highlander mirrors other auto maker's styling. The Toyota Highlander is capable of seating up to 7 passengers besides the driver in a 3-row spacious interior. Toyota offers a potent mix of hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive capabilities in the Highlander platform, which is large enough to fit quite a lot inside without being too bulky and cumbersome to drive. The Highlander competes with rivals of other manufacturers but reliability is premium with this model. Chances are you've probably seen just as many Highlanders on the streets of Glendale and Avondale. Even older models from 2000 on will continue to keep their value well into the coming years, just as many Toyota SUVs continue to do. If your Toyota Highlander has an ugly crack or deep chips on the windshield, don't let this damage fester and spread in the hot Phoenix climate! Give SunTec a call today and we can provide premium auto glass replacement or repair to your Toyota no matter if you have insurance or paying cash out of pocket.
Land Cruiser
Not to be confused with other rival full-size SUV's, the Toyota Land Cruiser can seat up to 8 people. This 3-row SUV is off-road capable and still manages to bring a sense of luxury to the table as well. The first Land Cruiser rolled off the production line in 1951 and the nameplate has been representing the Toyota name ever since. The Toyota Land Cruiser sits nearly as high as the Tundra and is powered by either a V6 or a V8 engine. The Land Cruiser last saw major changes in 2007 but continues strong through 2015 and newer.
Matrix
Toyota produced the Matrix from 2002 to 2013. The Toyota Matrix seats up to 5 people. Though the Matrix didn't necessarily have a successor, the Toyota Corolla hatchback shows similar stylings. In fact, the Matrix itself was based off the Corolla platform. Toyota figured potential customers for the Matrix would include young college students, working adults looking for a fuel-efficient alternative, and those simply needing a budget-friendly vehicle with some extra cargo capacity. Driving the streets of Glendale is much easier to do in a Toyota Matrix than a large SUV or worse yet, a half-ton pickup truck.
Mirai
The Toyota Mirai debuted in California in late 2015 after appearing at the Los Angeles Auto Show a year previous. The Mirai is a mid-size hydrogen fuel cell vehicle that takes the alternative-energy idea of the Prius to another level entirely. In fact, the Mirai and the Prius share some of the same design features, from sharp angles and broad panels to distinctive cutouts and aerodynamic streamlining. If you're still curious, check out Toyota's website on the model. You may see a 2019 Toyota Mirai or 2 driving around the streets of Phoenix one day.
MR2
The Toyota MR2 is a mid-engine sports car produced from 1984 until 2007. The rear-wheel drive coupe began as a rather boxy model characteristic of vehicles produced in the 1980s but it soon developed some of the same rounded curves as as seen on other rival models. The MR2 is great for getting around Glendale, AZ without having to search for a large parking space but wasn't exactly a grocery-hauler. Many young auto enthusiasts wrenched on their Toyota MR2s to try and extract every ounce of horsepower from the sub-2.0-liter engine. Toyota even offered a Spyder variant which included a retractable soft top, as well as manual transmissions in various speeds. You may even spot one driving through the streets of Goodyear, if you're lucky.
Prius
If you could line the streets of Peoria with all the Priuses Toyota has sold ... well, you'd probably have to shut the city down for a day! Toyota's iconic Prius has divided the masses since the first model came out in 2001. Though the first models didn't quite resemble the fascia we're familiar with today, it didn't take long for the Prius to take the world by storm in 2016 and especially nowadays. Most people don't know that there are actually variants of the Prius model besides the one you're probably picturing right now. The Prius V is a hatchback version that looks stretched, while the Prius C resembles smaller hatchbacks. The 2001-2006 Prius models suffer from what some might call a sparse interior and getting use to that shift knob took quite some time for most drivers. When you're used to hearing the engine rev up to know that the car's started, it's hard to train yourself to know that when the Prius says "ready" on the dashboard, you can simply shift and apply gas. You can now get cash back options with an insured windshield replacement on your Toyota Prius with SunTec. No need to wait on getting this service done! The SunTec team comes to you in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, North Phoenix and even all the way down to Chandler, Gilbert and Mesa, AZ to perform a cracked windshield replacement or chip repair on your Toyota!
RAV4
In the past year, the Toyota RAV4 has seen quite the redesign. Park a 2018 RAV4 next to the 2019 RAV4 and you'll see Toyota has infused quite a bit of bulk and muscle into those otherwise angled features. Whether you're traveling to the San Tan Valley or want to visit Ahwatukee, you'll turn plenty of heads along the way. The new RAV4 carries over similar features, from the structured body lines and off-set pillars to the squared wheel wells and available 2-tone color scheme. The RAV4 share off-road capabilities as well. Performing well on and off the streets of Tucson and Phoenix, the RAV4 is sure to delight drivers of almost any walk of life. The RAV4 is smaller than the Highlander and Sequoia but offers similar SUV capabilities. Toyota has really upped the ante with the 2019-2020 RAV4. If you incur auto glass damage (chips, cracks, breaks, broken pieces) on your Toyota RAV4, don't hesitate to contact us so we can perform a fast repair or an OEM-equivalent/OEM replacement so your glass can withstand the hot summer heat of AZ!
Sequoia
Family resemblances between the Toyota Sequoia and the Tundra promote the shared appeal of both vehicles. Whereas the Tundra offers Queen Creek residents and families a chance to hit the road for adventure and fun, the Sequoia does the same thing, except with additional seating instead. It's hard to miss the Sequoia in a crowded Mesa parking lot, especially since it sits at the same ride height as the Tundra. A 2005 and a 2008 Sequoia represent the 2 available body styles. But don't be fooled: the Sequoia might be a bit bulky but it's everything a growing family could ever need.
Sienna
The Toyota Sienna continues to be a strong competitor in the minivan market. Priced right for families, the model combines top-notch safety features, superb reliability, dynamic styling (as much as can be had in a minivan, that is), and enough tech features to delight any millennial. Toyota offers a slew of available trims on the Sienna, from the bare basics to a kitted out mommy-mobile. You're sure to encounter various model years from Mesa to Scottsdale, from the 2000 Sienna to the 2016 Sienna and beyond. Though the SUV market has proved lucrative for nearly every automotive manufacturer in the industry, the Sienna proves there's still value to be had in the minivan. Check one out at your local Arizona Toyota Dealer or if you have one that has glass damage, give us a call for a free quote on repair or replacement with an OEM or OEM-equivalent windshield.
Solara
Driving around Surprise, AZ, you may find yourself staring at a limo-like Camry wondering, "What kind of Toyota model is that?" If you guessed Camry, you're not far from the truth. The Toyota Solara is based on the Camry platform, and is sold as either a coupe or a convertible. It was produced for almost a decade, from 1999 to 2008. The Solara is a spacious vehicle in either form but doesn't feel as if you are driving an extended version of a Camry. The Solara is powered by either an inline 4-cylinder engine or a V6, with both a manual and automatic transmission option available.
Supra
Auto enthusiast worldwide are familiar with the Toyota Supra, an iconic sports car made famous by the Fast and Furious Whether you've got your eyes on the new Supra or prefer the older model better, there's a lot to admire about this sporty coupe. What seems like a simple design truly accentuates the styling of the model. You probably won't see a Supra riding around towns like Tempe but if you do catch a glimpse of one, count yourself lucky. Since the new 2019-2020 Toyota Supra has hit the market, if you are a lucky owner and have the unfortunate circumstance of a damaged windshield, let SunTec Auto Glass of Phoenix help you out and give us a call or submit a free quote request today!
Tacoma
Affectionately named "Taco" by some owners, the Toyota Tacoma is the brand's smallest pickup available. Competing with other midsize trucks, the Tacoma is really just a miniature version of the Tundra-that's also a bit easier to park as well. The Tacoma was first produced in 2005 and continues to develop for the next model year. We bet if you counted the Tacomas passing through Tucson in any given day, they'd add up to about how many other similar midsize trucks you'd see as well. The Tacoma is a popular model for those looking to have a truck without having to change their driving habits to accommodate bulkier mass and a gas-guzzling habit to match. Tacomas typically have a high resale value, much like many Toyota models, and whether you purchase a 2-door or 4-door variant, the possibilities are endless. It doesn't matter if you buy a 2014 Tacoma or a 2017 Tacoma. If you're not convinced, check out what Top Gear did to a Tacoma and it still lived. Need a windshield repair on your Toyota Tacoma? SunTec can meet you at your home or place of work with our free mobile service. Contact us now and we'll be happy to set up an appointment!
Tundra
Toyota bulked up the Tundra in the past few years of 2016 and newer; bringing it nearer in size to the other top competitor full-size trucks. The Tundra may not necessarily be the first pickup to cross your mind but it is a strong alternative to hometown brands. The Toyota Tundra shares similar features with the Sequoia SUV model but adapts them to a pickup platform. Early models from 2000 were smaller than 2019 models. Many contractors use the Tundra for its potent pairing of capability and comfortability. Arizona residents from Queen Creek all the way to Fountain Hills and Buckeye are sure to have seen countless Tundras around town, some even with a fresh windshield replacement, as can be noted by the two pieces of blue tape toward the top of the truck. The rugged Tundra is the perfect vehicle by Toyota to get out and enjoy offroading and other fun outdoor activites in Arizona. Call us if you need an auto glass repair service after one of these escapades if you get a rock chip, spider crack, or other impediment!
Venza
Every brand has a bit of a whacky model they release and well, the Venza is that for Toyota. Not quite a minivan but more like a squished SUV, the Venza is similar to the Highlander in terms of features and capabilities. In and around Glendale and Peoria, you're sure to spot a Venza. Produced from 2008 to 2015, the Venza enjoyed relative success but ultimately didn't survive as a long-term Toyota model.
Yaris
Production of the Toyota Yaris began in 1999 and continues to this day. There are plenty of Yaris variants roaming the streets of Ahwatukee, mostly because the model offers an affordable alternative to those looking for the benefits of both an SUV and a sedan, wrapped up in one vehicle. The Yaris is the perfect vehicle to cruise around Scottsdale or other AZ cities in but don't expect to pack your entire family into its tiny frame. Check out the 2010 Yaris and every year after that for an economic alternative.
SunTec looks forward to hearing from Arizona residents who need any type of auto glass repair or replacement service on their Toyota. Now offering cash back options an an insured Toyota windshield replacement, including free mobile service and free quote. Give us a call today at 480-900-7010 and we'll be happy to set up an appointment where WE COME TO YOU!
